YOUR TIME IS UP
Your Time is Up concept movie poster explores themes of time, mortality, and the fleeting nature of existence through a visually striking and symbolic design. The composition embraces minimalism, using stark contrasts and sharp typography to emphasize the urgency and finality of time’s passage. Two contrasting landscapes are blended within the design, creating a subtle blur in time that suggests the overlap between past and present, life and its inevitable end. This visual distortion reinforces the film’s central tension—that time is both constant and slipping away—ultimately conveying a sense of unease and inevitability.
RESTORING THE AFRICAN AMERICAN ORAL TRADITION

The design draws inspiration from the richness of these cultural narratives through vibrant colors and intricate visual elements. A circular composition organizes different sections of Black folklore—including Uncle Monday, John Henry, Br’er Rabbit and the Tar Baby, the Flying Africans, Sukey and the Mermaid, and Anansi the Spider—symbolizing the continuity and interconnectedness of these stories across generations.
